On October 13, the "Mass National Exercise on Medical Facility Chemical Threat Preparedness and Response" was held

The Ministry of Health and the National Agency for Public Health organized on October 13 this "Mass national exercise on the preparedness and response to chemical threats of medical institutions", organized within the P88 project "Strengthening CBRN medical preparedness and response capabilities in the countries of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe".

The event met representatives of the Ministry of Health, the National Agency for Public Health, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the National Council for Health Evaluation and Accreditation, the Environmental Agency, the Environmental Protection Inspectorate, the Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Moșneaga", the Institute of Emergency Medicine, the Municipal Clinical Hospital "Sfânta Treime". The exercise was dedicated to medical and non-medical authorities involved in the preparation and response to public health threats and emergencies, with the aim of testing inter-institutional cooperation, evaluating intervention capacities and improving coordination and communication mechanisms in case of chemical incidents.

The exercise is organized within the project P:88 "Strengthening of preparedness and response capacities medical to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats (CBRN) in the countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe" financed by the European Union through the Center of Science and Technology of Ukraine.
